Desired Competencies
- Minimum of 3 years of LTL sales experience along with a current book of business as a successful freight broker and/or common carrier sales representative.
- Minimum of 2 years of college education.
- Individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude who is motivated in an environment where earnings potential is driven by performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management, organizational and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and further develop the book of business you have.
- Prospect and qualify potential new customers.
- Identify customers' transportation needs and provide them with cost-effective solutions.
- Establish and maintain carrier relations.
- Work collectively with others and multitask between sales and operational demands.
